Court: EPA violated law on harmful pesticide, orders ban

There are 1 comment on the KCWY13 story from Thursday Aug 9, titled Court: EPA violated law on harmful pesticide, orders ban. In it, KCWY13 reports that:

A federal appeals court ruled Thursday that the Trump administration endangered public health by keeping the widely used pesticide chlorpyrifos on the market despite extensive scientific evidence that even tiny levels of exposure can harm babies' brains. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to remove chlorpyrifos from sale in the United States within 60 days.

How any chemical company would be allowed production, or have the inclination to produce these incredibly neuro-toxic chemicals is innately a crime against humanity. The application of these chemicals requires Federal registration in many instances, with strict guidelines for application protections (even respirators, total protective clothing and emergency showers, etc.), strict wind monitoring and posted, forbidden entry into fields for certain numbers of days. How a farmer could read the labeled warnings and restrictions, but still use these chemicals makes them complicit in such criminality. While some previous environmentalist concerns about such chemicals as DDT were erroneous with the ban leading to millions of deaths from malaria since the ban, that pesticide ban was a ginned up, unsupportable emotional blackmail by Rachel Carson and her "Silent Spring" (who and which the lunatic Left still reveres), while it is not the case with neuro-toxic pesticides such as chlorpyrifos.

As a side note, the Democrat supporters of current legislation affecting production of such deadly pesticides had no problem denying the outlandish number of chemical "pesticide" plants used by Saddam Hussein and the Baathists to hide their production of chemical weapons in Iraq. They were blind to what didn't support their claims of Bush illegitimacy and their ultimate support of Stalinists like Saddam. Currently, their hypocrisy is also criminal in intent and stricter control of pesticides won't cover their glaring contradictions.
