The White House, Congress and American allies react to airstrike on Syria
The United States, the United Kingdom and France launched air strikes against targets across Syria early Saturday, striking targets less than a week after a chemical weapons attack killed dozens of Syrian citizens. Tonight, at the order of @POTUS , U.S. Armed Forces, with Britain and France, launched strikes against chemical weapon sites in Syria.

The strike was appropriate, but nevertheless no more than the Western World's insistence that Assad play by the rules, to maim and kill innocent victims, without using chemical weapons. President Trump's action is commendable in that his message is that the U.S. will do more than just watch. And the Russians will do nothing, not because they have no "missile defense system" in Syria, but because Assad isn't worth a military "confrontation" with the U.S., Britain and France-Russia's allies during the 2nd World War.

Pence's support of the military action using the word "moral" is very questionable, considering that no confirmation whatsoever was established concerning the "alleged" chemical attack conveniently reversing Trump's policy of removing our illegal presence in Syria. Continued U.S. involvement in Syria benefits only the radical Islamic elements, who would slaughter Christians if Assad was overthrown. The Communist Democrats and their sleeper agents in government support this violation of international law because it validates (falsely) their false narrative about Russian involvement in electing Trump.
What is really sickening is the Administration's and hysterics like Nikki Haley's knee-jerk quickness to military strikes against absolutely unverified claims against Assad, while they don't ever mention the government sponsored genocide occurring right now against White people in South Africa. Really... Does Pence not realize the immoral, cowardly and feckless character of not addressing real and substantiated Crimes Against Humanity? "All it takes for the success of evil is for good men to do nothing."

Syria is largely a Shiite nation. That's all that is required to know that relations with them will always be problematic for the foreseeable future. This IS NOT about doing the right thing for the widdle childin'. You do that and the children will suffer even more. This is about the U.S. and Russia and how they police their puppet states.
We could fund a civil war...but so can the Russians. What is being done now is reasonable.
