A Newark grandmother who relied on an oxygen machine to breathe died hours after her power was shut off despite multiple pleas to restore the home's electricity, according to her family. Linda Daniels, 68, died in Newark, New Jersey, on July 5 after her power was shut off by her electric company, PSE&G.
