Under spotlight, special Pa. House race goes to voters

There are 7 comments on the WBT-AM Charlotte story from Mar 13, 2018, titled Under spotlight, special Pa. House race goes to voters. In it, WBT-AM Charlotte reports that:

Shadowed by the Trump presidency and the potential impact of a special election in a midterm year, voters in a western Pennsylvania congressional district find themselves on an unlikely national stage. Ostensibly, they are choosing Tuesday between Republican Rick Saccone and Democrat Conor Lamb to replace Tim Murphy, who resigned last fall amid a sex scandal.

Republicans have dominated this district for 15 years.

Former Rep. Tim Murphy, who resigned in October after it was revealed he'd asked his lover to get an abortion, ran his last two races unopposed by a Democrat.

Saccone's struggles, especially on the fundraising front, and eventual loss show that president Honey BooBoo’s unpopularity is pulling down his party, while enraging and engaging Democrats.

This is the second consecutive high profile race, after the Alabama US Senate clash, in which president BooBoo’s preferred candidate fell short even with the president's blessing AND an overwhelmingly red electorate.

What it shows, if Certified is that He Claimed to be Pro Life, Oppose Pelosi, Criticized Hillary and basically tried to show he was really a republican. If he wins, it will show liberals have to become republicans to win. Your brand is dead on it's own.

Former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell (D) on Wednesday blasted House Speaker Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) analysis of the special congressional election in the state the previous night (that you copied and pasted verbatim, lol) as “one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.”

Bless your heart, cupcake.

What it shows is that even when Trump begs folks to vote for “his” guy, it mobilized enough to do the opposite.

There is a glimmer of hope that maybe the Blue Wave might actually happen in November.

Bull$hit.....plenty of liberals disagree with Hillary in support of Sanders, the Democrat primary exposed you to the obvious differences. Millions differ with Pelosi and continue to rally around the code of saying "Fck" Trump and the corrupt Republicans. That's being demonstrated now across America in special elections.

You'd better awaken to the realization of what's going to occur in November.#Resist is real and coming to reclaim America's values and democracy.

He doesn't support much of Trump's agenda and least of all the tax scam which he campaigned on. He supports universal healthcare or Medicare for everyone.

Conor hasn't much in common with Republicans. He's more inline with the common sense principles which Bernie Sanders champions.

Even after passing Trump's tax scam into law the idiot is still a drag on Republicans and internationally on the United States

That tells America Trump's Bigly tax cuts did not provide struggling Americans in the middle class much if any relief in changing their financial and economic circumstances.

As said before, the Bigly tax cuts benefited the wealthiest oligarchs and plutocrats t the expense of upper middle class families.

Trump's just another Republican Con Artist. He's pretty much pulled another Trump University con.
