What role do humans play in global warming? None! It's actually getting colder - not warmer.

And only the liberal America-hating climatologists are hoping that the entire human race will forget about Climategate. Remember that one liberal climatologists? No? Well everybody else does!

The radical, America-hating left are hoping that if they can repeat the same lies over and over again (and pretend climategate never happened), then eventually the American people will start to agree that oil consumption - and therefore Capitalism and Freedom - are bad.

It's getting tiresome. Are we sick of the leftwing America-haters yet?

industrialization contributes to pollution (both water and air) which can result to greenhouse effect (global warming).

planting more trees and other plants can absorb more CO2 and lower pollution.

here are some more steps we can do to reduce global warming::)

In point of fact, the world is warming ... and has been for 50,000 years. Which is the reason that most of the US and Europe are buried under a mountain of ice. Despite the fact that paleolithic man drove very few SUVs.

There have been decades long periods of both accelerated cooling and heating which are recorded in human history, none of which can be attributed to human intervention and about which we don't fully understand.

However, certain groups have grasped on to the idea that human expiration of carbon is the one and only cause of what has been with us since the Ice Age and politicized their belief to the extent that any intelligent conversation on the topic is impossible. There is literally no difference in rhetoric between those who scream about Climate Deniers and those who scream about Bible Deniers -- two notes on the same instrument.

However, given that most of the world is sane enough to tune out the most shrill rhetoric on either side of the political divide and turn their attention to deal with immediate issues like economy and the threat of extremism and will leave the possible demise of the Snail Darter in the year 2230 to another, hopefully less chaotic, time.

There are always, and have always been, and always will be, people around the globe who get upset that we and the world aren't taking their environmental and other life concerns seriously enough.
It used to be atomic bomb (nuclear) tests drastically affecting world weather, and environment.
It's a natural part of the human condition and its search for relevance and importance.
The Chicken Littles, for whom the sky will be forever falling.
Their place in the pecking order.
And they're right, they are ignored. For good reason!
Hence the worldwide green phenomena.
Hence concerned environmentalists.
Hence inner city trendies, and other pains in the arse.
Hence those who need to feel more relevant and superior than their "nobody" status would indicate.
So hence where we are now with climate science/its denial/and whatever else seems important to fill up the time until you die.
And they're coming to eat your children!
So don't delay!!!!

Excellent post, I'll quote it on my website.
You've summed up quite a few of the climate crusader oddballs that post here.
I particularly liked "Hence those who need to feel more relevant and superior than their "nobody" status would indicate," because a handful of that variety have been posting here for a few years and they know who they are.

The beginning posts of this thread show what people are attracted to toxic topix. The following from another thread is an excellent example:
don't put the carriage in front of the horse.
But some airplane designs have the propellor at the rear of the airplane, many trains have locomotives at the front, middle & back of the cars, & few V-8 powered cars are made (new 3-cylinder turbo designs are very efficient).

"lyin' brian" chose a life away from science & never gained an ability to understand science. "lyin' brian" is a sleepy sleazy slimy steenking filthy vile reprobate rooting(& rotting) racist pukey proud pig AND alleged & proud threatener, whose lack of science, chemistry, astronomy, physics, algebra & pre-calc in its poorly earned hi skule DEE-ploooma causes it to oppose scientific AGW & support its errors of 1 million TIMES, 1000 TIMES, 3000 TIMES, 73+ million TIMES, 2.5+ trillion TIMES, & 3.5+ trillion TIMES.
//////////
Many others have no hi skule DEE-plooomaas, at all & are proud to show their lack, adding errors of 500 million TIMES, & 1,000,000,000,000,000 TIMES to the above.

Pot meet kettle.

The only reason your ignorant babblings on a subject you obviously know nothing about get any attention is they suit the agenda of religious, economic and political dogmatists.

Global warming is a HOAX perpetuated by people who are trying to make Billions and Billions of dollars on the backs ofvthe poor and middle class. They have lied about the data falsified the data and actually been caught and admited whenbthe data sis not fit the plan they made it up. Remember these are the same people who can't forecast the weather tomorrow. The same people who said inbthe early 1970's that we were headed towards a new ice age. Wake up and follow the money!!

The essence of warming theory is worked out through modelling.
It isn't necessarily the data at fault, rather the intrinsic use of it in tweaked models.
And the subsequent theorising based on those tweaked results.
Right now they're doing an exercise in explaining how cooling really amounts to warming.
It's quite cute really, how many earnest and intelligent souls have been drawn in to this morass of mindlessly scrambled data confusion and refusal to contemplate valid disagreement of detail and theory. With reality of course, in the back seat.

Just a casual observation.
I went looking for confirmation of the claims being made some years back.
Instead of detailed clarity, I came up against obfuscation, dodgy modelling, and demented claims of other party lack of faith.
I know B/S when I see the signs.
And that over earnest drive to sell a dodgy product.

I think they play a huge role in it, but it is nice to know so many experts live in Carteret county. to sit here and think humans can do whatever we want with no price to pay in the future is ignorant. what does it hurt to err with cation, I think it's hate that drives most people and I don't have to say against who, y'all know

It's a shame that the more observant among the faithful don't appear to see what's right in front of them.
The best we can do is keep on showing them pieces of the jig-saw puzzle until they see the big picture.

Just don't claim that man can pump 300 times more CO2 into the atmosphere than occurs naturally, deforest millions of acres every year, and have no effect on climate.

Extent of effects and duration can be debated, but not that. You can't remove huge volumes of the Earth's crust and pump it into the air without effect. Any claim that there is no effect or one that doesn't accumulate isn't based in science, which is why the debate is over among scientists.

The debate is only among those who lack the intellect to interpret climate data, or those who possess the ignorance to claim climate science is a conspiracy and think, at the same time, that oil companies have society's best interest in mind.
