Reigning Grassroots champion Anikadabra started her two-race win streak at Mohawk Racetrack on August 14 and extended it at Georgian Downs on August 27, where the three-year-old trotting filly and driver Rick Zeron toured the five-eighths mile harness racing season with a trio of $19,500 Grassroots divisions for three-year-old trotting fillies on Sunday evening. Leading off the stakes action was Crystal Gumdrop, who swept from fifth to first in the final quarter to record her first win of the season.
