Activity is down just like alot of families. We don't have any facts that report it's defunct. As for the two informants, supposedly one has been informing since the mid 80s. There was alot of hits since the mid 80s.<quoted text>
You're crazy. The Outfit has been reduced to a street gang and will be gone in about 10 years. All the old guys died or actually quit the Outfit and have nothing to do with it anymore. The FBI has 2 informants high up within the Outfit and they know every move the Outfit makes before they even do it. There is no future at all in the Outfit and they can't even kill anybody anymore. They are a JOKE compared to what they used to be 40 years ago.

Chicago is not dead, down like many families, but Chicago has more associates scattered across the States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Case in point what is happening right now with Puerto Rico is connected to Joe who is either a Milwaukee or Chicago associate who has been siphoning money from the relief effort to bring power back to the island. I remember many people were saying that Philadelphia was nothing more than a street gang years ago until the big indictments came down and showed some of that family's activities were exposed, then it was a different tune. Detroit and Buffalo is in the same boat, but unlike other families that are now defunct, there are actually arrests scattered about in their territories, that show they are not defunct.
