Patsy's unique and unforgeable handwriting characteristics can be found throughout the ransom note, and that is the reason she could not be excluded as the possible writer of the note. The reason no expert was willing to state with 100% certainty that she had written the note is because she attempted to alter her true handwriting style, so much of the writing isn't an exact match to her style.

Many experts used this last piece of information, the fact that much of the writing in the ransom note did not match Patsy's usual style, to justify their conclusion that it was unlikely she had written the note, but they only took into account the actual lettering. Other aspects of writing style, such as word spacing, were consistent throughout the note, and matched Patsy's style exactly.

Did Patsy have some sort of dissociative disorder or schizo action or was she in her right mind when she wrote that note?

I don't understand why they thought writing a ransom note was a smarter idea than putting her on ice or taking her to a secondary location. Humor me with a round of what if instead of what is.

I read that the FBI was en route and the dad magically found the body. He knew where it was the whole time. How he kept Fleet from finding it or the police from finding it, I don't know. Seems like they had a lot of dumb luck early on.

If you knew all the facts in the case, you'd know the answer to this. I'm not going to explain it to you. Do you homework.

Of course, I realize if it had been a murder crime scene from the second 911 was called, it would have been sealed and processed differently. I would guess that the "kidnapping" gave them a chance to call family and friends, eradicate the evidence and murk up the crime scene.

I just think it is stupid when the dad said he was relieved because she was back in his arms. Um, dude, her feet are blue/cyanotic and she is not breathing. He said Arndt told him his daughter was dead. Couldn't he smell the stench of decomposition?

With their money and power, they could have made her body disappear if they had wanted and that's all I have to say about that.

No body. No case.
