State court rejects prosecution appeal in Hazleton homicide case
The state Superior Court on Tuesday rejected a prosecution appeal that sought to prevent a Hazleton homicide suspect from claiming self-defense at trial. Terrence W. Clarke, 30, of Hazleton, is facing criminal homicide charges over a February 2014 shooting at Shakers Bar and Grill in Hazleton that left Garey S. Cox, 45, fatally shot in the head and chest.
