Domestic abuse is as bad as the roads in Oklahoma. Why she would face charges is beyond anyone's imagination if she had a vpo and he was coming at her with a knife. She'd be wise to bear more arms as retaliation could be on the way for displaying Razorback fan material.

All they ever say is to get a gun and then to press charges for using it would be ridiculous. It could happen in Okla since their priority is getting their names on legislation and not hiring anyone capable of doing their jobs. It is doubtful she had any recourse. Oklahoma doesn't offer much help, if any, to women.

I lived in terror for years because of stalking. It wasn't an ex, so there was no help whatsover. The closet I came to it being an ex was some guy that scared a woman at her neighbor's house while I was there that used a name familiar to me. I took off and followed him and it wasn't anyone I knew.I'd seen him before, but didn't know him. It was that day I discovered by cell phone missing.
they are pathetic

This is an intractable social problem.

Two things could solve it, though.

First, replace jails with whipping posts. Someone beats their wife, whip the hell out of them, literally. They do it again, then whip 'em to death. If the woman protests, tell her she has no say because she's the idiot who married him in the first place. And if she sabotages the case, then tell her we have no sympathy for her.

Secondly, educate young women, and especially as teenagers in high school, to get as much education as possible, pursue their own careers, become self-sufficient and be very, very, very picky about their choice in men.

What brutality against brutes does not end, natural selection eventually will.

The one and only time a Muslim man punched me, he got the greasy frying pan across the side of his head. He never touched me again. Well, it helped that I memorized the Koran and moved from Iran the next day, too, even with him begging me to not go because "it'll never happen again, I swear. I was just angry." Yeah, well, show your anger elsewhere.

I wish women who are in these abusive relationships would know their worth. It breaks my heart.

And the men who beat these women are not men at all. They're disgusting creatures disguised as humans who deserve to be beaten until they beg for mercy. And then beaten some more.

Always ignored is the FACT that most domestic violence is initiated by women. That is a fact borne out by the statistics for anyone interested in going beyond the Okie media kool-aid. Doesn't make the Okie men who do it any better, of course. But it does illustrate the bias there is in Okieville. Women tend to get a free pass in these issues.

This Okie woman LOVED the DRAMA. She feeds off of it. Her behavior killed her own husband. She picked the abuser over a descent guy and she's going to do it again. She's didnít show up to court--she LOVES DRAMA!! She could of put him away in jail, but she didn't. That speaks volumes doesn't it? I do not feel sorry for her at all. She's an idiot Okie because she wanted to keep a relationship with her abuser, thatís why she didnít go to court. She probably killed him because he didnít share his meth. And all you fools are getting sucked into her drama.

Don't you have a handgun or shotgun to re-tool? You really suck at convincing anyone of anything other than the fact you are a moron.
