Executive orders to curb freedom of speech is against the Bill of rights. Citizens have a right to express what they want short of physical harm. Hurting emotions is not a crime. We may not be politically correct but that is not part of being a citizen in a free land. Without our liberty and freedom we have nothing worth fighting for. We become slaves under a master's rules.

No laws provide emotional safety.

The oppressed would never be oppressed again if all flags were removed and burned. The pro football players are all oppressed making millions every year. Native Americans would be free at last with no American flag to remind them of their history.

People are judged by their abilities and personally as they enter different cultures. It is not skin color. If you investigate class you find many cultural differences based on morals, ethics and virtue. Classes do not mix well.

Why fly any flags? Everyone is bristled by a flag. The voters in Mississippi selected their state flag as the official flag of Mississippi. Tupelo does not need Jackson for anything so the mayor defies the voters and the legislature. Tupelo's mayor is oppressing with his liberal schemes to impress the downtowners that jerk his string everyday. The governor will schedule another statewide vote and the over whelming majority will approve the same state flag again but the oppressed will fuss and threaten to march in the streets and protest until they are paid for their oppression. Burn all the flags and burn oppression for ever.

The rebel flag was flown by an army that fought for slavery, itís offensive and not only that they lost.
Honestly, it makes Mississippi look terrible, the Mayor did the proper thing.
The Mayor is brave and bold, in a democracy the few can fly theyíre hundred year old failure at their private homes without the majority having to look at it.

The war was about economics. In the end the north outproduced the south in needed military equipment. It makes the U.S. look greedy to bury its history of stealing first from the native Americans then from the agriculture section. The tradition continues as we start wars over oil and other goods.

Your either delusional, in denial, or very uneducated.
The civil war was about 11 southern states who wouldnít accept that slavery was over. If you canít even understand the most basic facts, thereís nothing to debate.

Yea, and the Iraq war was over M&Mís.
Well thanks for the history lesson, many of us were under the impression if the South lost the Cival War slavery would end. Now that we know it was over economics, you make absolute no sense.

A divide union is too easy to take over. The revolution was about the crown taking taxes. The war between the states was about inequity of profits and control of assets.
