For those Lowes employees who worked at stores in the areas impacted by the various Hurricanes, we were promised a weekly retention bonus - with the amount varying depending on the number of hours we worked. This was promised to us in WRITING! Well....guess what? We have been screwed out of the last week of that bonus which was to extend to 12-08-2017. Check your paycheck (Yes, you can see it at MyLowesLife before it goes into your bank account). Cannot believe after all the many, many extra hours we have put in to keep the store open and extend help to customers recovering from the hurricanes that Lowes is going to cheat us out of that last week. And, unless you want to possibly lose your job, you can't say a darn thing.

Have you considered asking about it? With the amount of CYA in large corporations like Lowes, do you think that they would promise something in writing and then not deliver.

I guess the reason you still work at Lowes is because you are a dumbass.. The bonus started early so they ended it early... You still got your 90 days of bonus pay.. I would be willing to bet you were like all the other LAZY young ones that mostly pulled your pud and rode the clock... GL

This goes out to the "7YRS" - Well your "guess" would be horrifically inaccurate - both to the "dumbass" part and the "lazy" part. Because of my position - and because there were other individuals who (unfortunately) did fall into the classifications you so eloquently detailed - during the hurricane recovery, my work week expanded significantly. There were many, many of us who not only worked extended days/hours, but volunteered time outside of work helping with the recovery efforts. We were aware it began "early" but had assumed that was because we were began our efforts early - before we were aware there was even going to be a bonus. It's during times like this that you see the best in some people and I'm proud to say that overall our employees worked diligently both on the clock and off the clock.
