The only people that have any damage was his mother and maybe slight damage to the Sears building, that's it, the Talihina strong t-shirts are ridiculous, some of you are acting like you all lost something or was impacted, You have Lauren Hubbard sharing pictures of herself standing while looking at the building crying, you have man made tits mcgee kody heflin making posts about how the buildings all burned down before she bothered to check the facts, come on people seriously could you be anymore pathetic? All of you are sure taking this time to shine

The town really needs to do a GoFundMe, this got national attention. We could raise enough to build several buildings. We need the jobs here.

Shows what you know ďReally!Ē How about the coffee shop that was in the process of opening? It is now completely gone with all the inventory. What about Emileís business? Why not get the correct information before running your mouth, itís people like you that makes others not want to help out when needed.

It is a sad day in this world when people attack others who are just trying to figure out what to do in the middle of a tragedy.

This is their reality and it opened a lot of people's eyes to the problems we have in our town. We realized that we can no longer look the other way when there are dangerous people who are doing illegal activities, because it can and will affect us. This is now obvious.

As to you ridiculing these women and their first response to this tragedy: Our natural response to tragedy is to think the worse and when they first were posting, they probably thought they were about to lose their livelihood. That would be terrifying so see those flames and know these are 100 year old buildings, and know it could burn their businesses.

The Talihina people who are making the shirts are just trying to help and this may be the only way they can. Don't criticize them for doing what ever they can to create good in a bad situation. Don't make fun of people who are trying to come together and help one another.

NO SH'''T, the only one affected was the Sears building? You sound like Lahoma, again under a different name. I've seen you use it on other posts. Christ, Duncans delights was closed 4 days, lost income. Emils car and some business equipment all gone. The coffee shop that was going in, had done quite alot of remodeling. I don't know what you have against Pam, but she was closed friday and saturday. All the people who work at those places lost wages. I don't know that I lost business, but people are very frustrated not getting their vehicles back and being without for an extra 4 days. How much do you think all that law enforcement and firefighter attention cost and who's paying that bill???? Now the demolition and clean up. There is no insurance on the building. Typical!! All because A DOPE MAKING, worthless piece of dirt, decided FFFFF this place he was sent to by his family that didn't want him around. THIS IS A FACT!!! Both he and his sister told me so. IF this is Lahoma you are about as two faced as they come. You complain, complain, complain about drugs, but when it's a jack ass that supported you running for town council it's OK. If this is not Lahoma then you too can kiss my u know. Because that just makes you an idiot also

I probably shouldnít even be replying much less defending myself, yet here I am..
Iím just going to venture to say you must have NO IDEA about what itís like putting blood, sweat and tears into a business. YEARS worth! It becomes your LIVLIHOOD. You depend on it. So yes, excuse me that I may have shed a few tears at the thought of seeing all of that go up in flames.
The moment this all happened there were no guarantees as to what businesses would still be standing and what would be destroyed. It was only the help of the amazing first responders along with GOD that saved our little community from experiencing so much worse!
So SHAME ON YOU for being so condescending

Ok ďReallyĒ, not sure what your problem is but Iím here to tell you, there is more than the manís motherís place that was damaged, did you not know about Emile whom has a business right next door to this Webster man? What about the Roseís that have been working on the building next to Treatís and Treasureís with plans of opening up a coffee shop, they have equipment and inventory that was in their building, they both have a total loss! The other business owners didnít have any idea if their buisnessís were next so yes, I can see where they would be upset. Are you really that cold of a person that you donít understand what friends and neighbors do for each other? We help each other when needed, do we see it as a ďtime to shine?Ē No! And no, I didnít have a buisness that suffered or any kind of loss, but my friends and neighbors did, so Iíll do whatever I can to help them. A T-shirt sell is a quick way to earn money and every penny will be donated to those in need. So ďReallyĒ, instead of posting hateful things on this topix site, why donít you come to town and see what you can do to help.

I am sure Rhonda could really use the help. She's got a mess to take care of. This downtown area needs alot of attention. Unfortunately that falls mostly on the shoulders of the building owners. Maintenance and up keep of these old building is expensive though. Without function businesses in them it's even tougher to bear the expense. This town has been failing for years. From what I've seen, all the distrust and petty personal negativity is very overwhelming. It's difficult for anyone to have to take on the barrage of unwelcome distance, that comes with opening a new business here. I have lived in a few different states and, in my opinion, this valley is probably the most scenic and pleasant of them all. It would truly be nice if people would realize that and come together more to support each other than tear down those who are trying. There are alot of great people here that I know and have dealt with, who in fact helped me and encouraged me, at times, to keep going. I would hope we could put this incident in the past and help each other move forward. I have often said " I don't live in town so I'm not gonna get involved with their politics and pettiness, Just show up and do my work." After this episode, I'm no longer sure that was the right attitude. Let's try to put this behind us and move on as a community. WalMart isn't coming to bail you out folks. If you have business ideas bring them forward to see if someone else is interested in helping. I know my landlord has always been there to help someone get started. Thank You. And I hope for a better future. Please don't reply to this negatively, I'm just trying to help.

Sorry I'm back. I'd like to help. Rhonda, I know you or someone you know reads this. I have a mop bucket, mop and some cleaning supplies, I know it doesn't look it by looking at my place. When they finish taking that building down, I will gladly help you with your clean up. I also know that people who work at one of the stores that sell these products read this. Please see if you might get them to possibly donate or discount some supplies. I'll put up the first $50 and buy some. Can I get any others to join in on this. Lahoma? can we move forward?
