Sorry! This was no accident, it was a murder by a P.O.S I'm sorry he was not taken out before he killed innocent driver at that intersection. I saw his name on T.V. this morning he has been in and out of jail since 18 years old. No loss of him, just from him.
Thanks Science Hill Police for trying to get this murder off our roadway.

I just hope science hill police can live with know he could have called off this pursuit before it got to that point it was his stupidity pursuing them at those speeds through all the red lights at that time of day these 2 deaths are on his hands

What a horrible event that could have been prevented if someone had not made the decision to complete a pursuit in the busiest travel route in Pulaski County. Could there not have been communication between Science Hill Police and Somerset Police to stop this person prior to getting this far down in the business district of 27. This person was erratically driving. He had not killed someone until the accident. As a result two people were killed for what appears to be bad decisions on both parts. I always thought that pursuits were not to continue if others would be put in harms way. I guess I was wrong.
This is so sad for everyone involved, even the people who witnessed this. Prayers and thoughts to all involved.

I think the chase only involved 5 stoplights. I don’t think it started in science hill, just a science hill officer saw him.

I think police departments are to eager to chase and this contributes to car crashes. Most of the time, they could arrest them at their homes.

The officer involved was heading north. Saw the car headed south at high rate of speed. The car was going so fast he couldn’t even get a good description. Was not being pursued at that point. He called it in and turned around. Several calls had already reportedly been made about this driver nearly causing several accidents before police ever spotted him.

Its not the cops fault at all thats why we have speed limit laws which the guy was not obeying at all if he would of just pulled over everybody would of been ok the police officer did not know his intentions if they would of called off the pursuit who knows what he would of done or what he done before the chase just say it was different before that chase he hit one of your kids an ran would u still be saying they should off called it off or at least catch him so all im trying to say is its not the cops fault his life was in danger as well its the guy going down 27 at a high rate of speed hes the blame
Senseless

To see the impact and the rate of speed in which he came into view on the surveillance camera is very disturbing. And I get it with both sides for and against what happened, but he was someones son, brother, friend, and so on, for them, today becomes day 1. Its senseless but its life, and its death.

Wrong.. The police are required to back off for the safety of the innocent people.. He is as guilty as the driver at this point

Im not taking up for cops but you honestly think its a cops fault if you drive dangerously and wreck, bullshit. If they have to back off wouldnt everyone just drive fast till they all backed off thats foolish . Its dangerous enough to drive slow but if you try to fly cop or no cop eventually youll wreck , took me flipping a couple to wise up and they wasnt a cop no where around it was me showing my arse.

Why else do you think we have identifying information on our vehicles?? Duh to identify. Not in all cases should this be an issue, but in this yes it should.

#1 The Science Hill cop was out of his jurisdiction completely. He did not follow him (or so it has been reported) from Science Hill, but started his stop from within Somerset city limits.
#2 police ARE required to terminate a pursuit if it is in the publics best interest. That starts the minute they enter into a congested area. Which 27 is!!!
#3 We dont know what was going through the idiot in the pontiacs mind, but apparently driving faster to get away wouldnt have been one of them if nobody was pursuing him. More than likely it could have ended with him just getting off the road to hide.

We will never know because people made the wrong choices. Including the officer. But I think there is enough blame to go around without help from the general public.

In the end anybody that wants to argue whos opinion is right or wrong (especially without all the facts) is entitled based on the First Amendment for free speech, but at some point have some respect for yourself and the families involved and just shut up!!!! Everybody wants to send prayers while they pass their own judgments. I dont think that is how it is supposed to work. May God have mercy as we leave it unto him.

It's the stupid cops fault for chasing my friend they don't have to win every time. Who wants to go to the jail house it sucks. The other driver got in front or them a caused a crash probably texting on the phone.
