If by "traveling down the public roads" you mean walking or riding a bicycle, then you are correct. But if you plan on driving an automobile on a public road, then you need a drivers license, and if you don't have one, then you have ran a fowl of the law, which you should know if you have studied "Law" for over 20 years. Or maybe you missed that page. There's a lot of pages you know! Every government makes demands. That's kind of their point, without which there would be lawless chaos. I have an education. I wonder how often your education fails you? Have you had a bad month in the U.S. Supreme Court? Just curious.

When a police officer asks you for identification you give it to him!
The police have enough trouble with hood rats...
They don't need your b/s! Just hand them your ID!

You do not need a driver license to drive or operated farm machinery such as tractor, combines or a 4 wheeler even to use on short distances on public hwy going from field to field!

Unless a crime is being committed by you , you can refuse to show ID.

Example if your sitting in your car in a parking lot because you are trying to be safe because your talking on the phone & a officer pulls up question you then ask for ID, proof of registration and insurance....
He just violated your rights and you can refuse to show him ID... Arkansas law doesn't require you to show ID upon request by a officer unless a crime has been committed.

Can police not stop anyone they want at any time and ask for ID? Pretty sure they can if u are driving down the road in a random stop, every citizen should carry an ID anyways, if something were to happen while u were out an they needed help identifying to notify family. People who are complaining the most are likely the druggies and criminals doing the crimes, law abiding citizens really have nothing to fear from this and everything to gain from increased awareness and protection.
It does not matter if you are innocent or guilty, it is a matter of the constitution and your rights. No they do not have the right to stop you for any reason that is violation of the 4th amendment. I am tired of the argument of if you have nothing to hide. That is irrelevant. And if you get technical statutes are not laws and if you go by the actual law and definitions of words in the law not statutes then any traffic stop is illegal unless you are traveling for profit. Because all the legal definitions for all traffic laws are commercial in nature not for personal use. If they actually followed law and do not infringe our 4th amendment then we don't need licenses or insurance and to stop your rebuttal to that point I will paraphrase Ben Franklin when he said those who willingly give up their liberties for safety deserve neither.

Are you black if you are then u are stupid, if not then your ignorant. Try getting stopped and treated like a criminal kniwing you have done nothing wrong. It's called standing up for your rights, if u stand for nothing you'll fall fir anything.

Trump said he will take away your rights and bring back "stop and frisk". If you don't believe me just Google it. He wants cops to be allowed to pull you over and search you at will. Trump is the next Hitler.

In Nazi Germany and China, yes. Many USA soldiers bought and paid for your right to walk down your own streets and I will to, if need be !
