I've lived in this community for 35 yrs I've seen many changes. When i was young my parents send to private school in another city to keep me away from gang members. Now, all these years later I have seen the community change to alot of people who I assume are here illegally, the school's are crowded, kids can't even get lunch unless they run to the cafeteria. Classes are Spanish and Spanish. Wth? This is the USA our language is English. I saw new construction of cookie cutter houses on Pacific. Am I the only one concerned that bp is turning into another overly crowded Asian community? I'm ok with diversity but, city after city has been dominated by Asians who don't adapt to U.S. ways, too many neon signs in their language, too many people on the roads. Look at Alhambra, Monterey Park. Let's improve our community but, overcrowding it is not a solution. Limit building, signage. Keep bp moving forward without overcrowding and selling out. There's only so many nail salons that are necessary.
