Residential areas need local fresh food stores and schools children can walk to. Industry needs to be close to workers not a commute away. Retail is dead and is replaced with on line shopping.

Amory is a booming railroad town with a taxpayer river with no traffic and millions of acres to growth into a transportation hub for north Alabama and Northeast Mississippi. Maybe a few centuries from now??? Tough decisions for the daily urinal to print as news.

To bring production to rural communities is to take it from big corporations. A guild system that promotes small manufacturing of standard and unique products to be sold on big shopping sites such as eBay and Amazon or big box stores instead of the same things made of poor quality from China. When you factor in all the benefits and regulations the products will cost more and that would raise inflation.

Amory will never grow if people keep blocking commercial development.

The new Hwy 25 bypass near Walmart would be a great place for future development. The time to plan for it is now.

The new bridge will have sidewalks similar to Tupelo where no one walks to work. The bicycle paths will be a bond issue similar to Tupeloís special debt that the voters were not allowed to vote on or against. Dictators simply leave office never to be heard of again in Tupelo.

Amory should raise taxes and provide free bus routes throughout the town like Tupelo. Tupelo has encouraged more thugs to move into the blighted neighborhoods by refusing to enforce the codes. The thugs trash the streets and refuse to work and request more and more entitlements. Tupelo is on notice from Lee county about the overcrowded jail full of Tupelo thugs. The new city jail will be on front street convenient to the court house and the police station and across from the Nettie Davis park. The razor wire will keep the thugs from breaking in the jail for something to steal in the neighborhood.

The University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein study published last month in Neuroradiology used magnetic resonance imaging to study the cerebral blood flow of 30 participants.

Half of the participants wore ties during their MRIs, and the other half did not.

The results showed a significant decrease, 7.5 percent, in cerebral blood flow after tightening the tie, but the venous flow showed no significant changes.

Water transportation is the cheapest form of transportation. Armory and Aberdeen are both river town with very little commerce. The two town should merge. Aberdeen has a federal courthouse and Amory has a railroad depot. They should merge.
