Nearly 3,000 households, businesses without power after outages hit Winnipeg, Springfield

More than 2,900 Manitoba Hydro customers were without power in southern Manitoba Friday morning due to more than 30 outages. Manitoba Hydro said on its website that 12 outages cut power to about 2,150 customers in Winnipeg, and almost 800 in the rural municipality of Springfield were affected due to five more outages.
