City+Cupe Don't Care About Employees

Last week a 58 year old man, a City of Winnipeg employee, fell to his death at the water treatment plant.
Yet his name hasn't been revealed.
It is as if he never existed.
You see, the City gets around $150,000 every time an employee dies.
It is euphemistically called "Dead Janitor Insurance", a life policy every employee pays the city upon death.
Cupe collects dues from employees. Employees pay over 40% in deductions every payday.
I suppose his name is irrelevant.
He may as well be known as " Next!".
