Republicans hating what Trump wants to do? Trump is way ahead of the political competition. So who are his supporters? Republicans. So who is wrong here? The news media again.

This is the best attack article on Trump so far.

Perhaps Trump to temper this attack with discussions about reducing the size of government so that high tax rates on the rich are less required.

Let's hear what Trump has to say about the true source of the problem - an oversized parasite for a government - a blood sucking leech on everyone's back. What is Trump's view of the role of government?

No candidate is perfect. I don't have a problem with higher tax rates for hedge fund managers (these people are abusing capitalism and giving capitalism a bad name). But I don't think you should be punished for being rich either.

Let's hear what Trump's views are on the actual problem - An out of control federal government. No candidate for president on either side ever talks about the elephant in the room. They all point to a need to raise taxes on these people in order to lower taxes on these other people. Let's hear them talk about reducing government so that everybody can pay a fair share of taxes!

Mr. Trump is the only one that understands what has to be done to make America Great again. The rest, excluding Dr Carson, think becoming more like the opposition will get them elected. Huh uh!!!

Trump's two latest books clearly explains his platform. And if you're a reader, you'll begin to understand his enormous (and growing) support. Other candidates, both Republican and Democrats, remain un-committal on the issues Trump brings to the surface. You don't believe it? Look at his ratings again.

People are voting with their pocket books. They are tired of being broke under the Democrats. Even if Donald Trump can only do part of what he says he can do we will be better off then we are right now.

I am a Trump supporter. But we all need to hear Trump articulate his views of the role of government. What are his views on the limitations of government? Does he view the federal government as too large, too oppressive, and too expensive? And if so, what will he do to fix it?

I want to hear Trump articulate his views on the importance of reintroducing the Constitution in Washington. What are his views on personal freedom?

I want to Trump to win! I want him to pass the vetting process. He has to make the case for freedom and limited government.

If Trump talks about the need to reduce the size of the Federal government, like building the wall, he will be the first and only candidate to say it. If he makes the case for freedom and limited government and makes it an integral part of his campaign, he will sweep the election.

The people are waiting for this kind of leader.

Funny, how Donald Trump just showed up, and took over. He could be the best President we ever had in our History. I just want him to build the wall, and ship the criminals home. I'll pay the taxes. It will be worth it.

It's simple really. Trump's views are resonating with the will of the American people. He is telling it like it is - like we all know that it is. This is in stark contrast with the corruption and the mostly bought and paid for candidates competing for the nomination - Not all of them are bought and paid for, but most of them are.

There is a revolution building behind Trump, and the GOP knows it. People like Lindsey Lohan Gram are losing their minds over it. All Trump has to do is make the case for individual freedom and limited government - make it part of his campaign. The moment Trump articulates this kind of message is the moment the election is over - Trump will become our next President. If he makes it clear that he will restore the rule of law under our Constitution, and that he will restore individual liberty and dramatically cut down the size, influence and scope of the Federal Government, he will win - right then and there it will be over and Trump will win by the biggest landslide victory in American history...when election day arrives.

It's ripe for the picking. This can be big history in the making if Trump wants it to be. He has an opportunity to go down in history as one of the greatest Americans who has ever lived. Just by doing what he knows is right - what is in accordance with the intentions of the Founding Fathers - Trump will take his rightful place with the likes of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Founders and saviors of the United States of America.

This thread shows how Turnip supporters have no more clue what Turnip actually would mean as President than does Turnip himself. Neither does the left have any clue about what Turnip would mean, but they don't support him from that place of ignorance....

To some extent this is true. It's half true perhaps - we have learned quite a bit about Trump's views, and we like them so far.

It's also true that the Democrats won't support Trump while they remain ignorant about him. Instead, they support known felons (yet to be charged), and naked communists who blatantly hate America and most of it's people.

We know exactly what Mr. Trump will do. He will ship the illegal aliens home. He will call them illegal aliens, because that is what they are. He will rebuild the middle class, and the military. He will tax the rich, and reduce the taxes on the middle class. What more do you want?

I'm for Trump too, but I do want more. There is nothing wrong with being rich. That's the American dream. When I get rich, I don't want to be punished. Why should I work hard just to have to give it to the government?

Smaller government is the key. A smaller government is more affordable. And it makes life better for everyone. If we want to make America great again, then that has to include a smaller Federal government. We cannot be great again with an oversized government.

I agree. This is a great point. We cannot make America great again with such a HUGE bloated pig for a Federal government. Local and State governments too are out of control.

I know Trump will deliver! You can't fight to achieve the American Dream the way Trump has without feeling just a little bit of resentment for government. They've got their hands in your pockets constantly. They are breathing down your neck from day 1 - before you can even earn your first dime.

They install barriers to success at every turn - closing off one opportunity after another. Government is killing the American Dream - one opportunity at a time. America cannot be great again in this kind of environment. Not only is government destroying opportunity while imposing greater and greater burdens on business in the form of taxes and regulations, they are undermining our freedoms and our rights.

But I know Trump will deliver! Did I say that already? Once he does incorporate the need for smaller government and personal freedom in America, the election will be over. Trump will be the next President.

Turnip was always pro choice, for single payer, now wants to tax the rich more, thought even Mittens Romney's milquetoast solution to undocumented immigrants was too draconian, gave a lot of money to Democrats including Hillary Clinton...and the nativist right wing loves him because Turnip's current showing of racism is less coded than any other candidate's.

They don't know anything about policy or care to.

Trump specifically said that wants to tax hedge fund managers more. I don't think anybody has a problem with that. And he's given a lot of money to both Democrats and Republicans. It has little to do with his political views.

But we do need to hear more about his political views. So far so good though!

And Trump is not a racist. This claim by liberals is wearing thin with the American people. The Democrats are going to lose because of this kind of thing from the left. The people are tired of it. It's BS and everybody except perhaps Hillary knows it.

You failed to dispute any of Turnip's liberal/left positions.

I like most Democratic or progressive minorities, but I'm not perfect.
