(CP) - Loblaw Cos. Ltd. (TSX:L), racked by supply-chain woes, has disclosed it is "at an advanced stage in its discussions" with third-party logistics provider Atlas Logistics Retail Services LLC on operating a big distribution centre in Ajax, east of Toronto.

Loblaw said Monday that Atlas Logistics - a division of the former Atlas Cold Storage, taken over last year by Eimskip Holdings of Iceland - would run the 870,000-square-foot dry and perishable food distribution centre starting next spring. Read more

My dirty little pleasure to come back to this forum after so many years away, was once number 35 on the seniority list, was there before the union, made my way to Days Reach operator with weekends off, it didn't make a difference... Same old story different page...234 pages... just brutal. I wouldn't wish this job or any of it's big players against my worst enemy. I know it's easier said than done, but move on people. They're making a fortune while your breaking your backs, all while be divided and conquered by management and your union. The real spirit and influence of Unions is long dead. I will give Big Green Yes credit for one thing, he's still on the floor...when he was first elected Chair many thought he was just using the position as a spring board into management

A couple o months ago, I bumped into a business blog on gold by chance. Sadly, the link disappeared later, but the articlew and interviews on how to start up a gold business I read there were very objective.
Just yeasterday, I ran into the same link again ( http://global-intergold-en.blogspot.com/ ). It might be interesting for some of you. If online gold shop brought success to people in the street, it might also bring it to you, who knows.
