Lars von Trier on his controversial Cannes return
Lars von Trier would like to point out that his banishment from the Cannes Film Festival, where he was declared "persona non grata" after making comments sympathetic to Nazis, has not been applied to others. "What about Harvey?" the Danish director wondered in an interview Wednesday, alluding to the former Cannes regular Harvey Weinstein, whom the festival did strongly condemn.
