Calls for cameras to catch drivers using mobile phones
Drivers using their mobile phone can be fined $378 if caught by police, but calls have been made for cameras to be installed to catch offenders. The New South Wales Government introduced cameras to detect drivers illegally using their mobile phones from July 1, prompting Bicycle Queensland chief-executive Anne Savage to call on Queensland to follow suit.
